A Journey of Indonesian Flavors and California Love
ChiliCali, owned and operated by Chef Siska Silitonga has been serving Indonesian-inspired food in the SF Bay Area since 2015 through different projects including pop-up dinners, pantry products, catering, a food truck, and a modern Indonesian restaurant. The restaurant, named after her, Warung Siska (meaning Siska's small restaurant), was recommended in the Michelin Guide 2021. There are only 9 other Indonesian restaurants in the world listed on the guide. Warung Siska closed earlier last year due to the pandemic.
ChiliCali is the food Siska cooks, sauces she jars, recipes she writes, and anything from her kitchen that represents her roots, Indonesia & California. Raised in a culture where people eat what they fish, and consume food that grows on their lands, Siska is passionate in sourcing sustainable and local ingredients.
She started cooking at a young age with her mother and mentor, a chef in Jakarta. She brought her talent and passion to the Bay Area and now she is a proud Indonesian food ambassador. Her goal is to uplift her community, and promote and raise awareness of Indonesian food and culture in the Bay Area and beyond.
