Passionate French pastry maestro, François, creates sustainable and delicious treats.
François grew up in France, moved to the US and then back to France where he studied pastry for 6 years. He returned to the US to further his training (in San Francisco with La Boulange) before moving to Japan where he was the Executive Pastry Chef for one of the top French restaurants in Tokyo (Austral), and then moved to Canada, where he was a pastry teacher and owner of Et voila!. More recently, he was the Executive Pastry Chef for the cookie start-up, Doughbies. Quality ingredients and a menu of delicious cookies are the backbone of this business, but equally important to Francois is creating good jobs, giving back to the community and sustainable packaging. Francois brings his French training, creative energy, baking expertise and passion for the local community and the environment into every delicious thing that comes out of his kitchen.
