East Coast nostalgia meets West Coast flavor in this beloved woman-owned San Francisco bakery.
Black Jet Baking Co. is a woman-owned San Francisco bakery founded by Gillian Shaw Lundgren, whose love for baking began in her childhood kitchen in Massachusetts. Starting in 2010 as a wholesale operation delivering cookies and handmade Pop Tarts, Black Jet quickly grew into a beloved local brand. In 2017, Gillian teamed up with chef Max B. Newman to open their Cortland Ave bakery, where they now serve nostalgic, handcrafted baked goods inspired by East Coast classics and Bay Area ingredients.
